I am a lover of painting and passionate about the magic that colours can cause.

My first forays into museums during my teenage years triggered new emotions in me. The bright colours of the Impressionists' works immediately caught my eye, grabbing my attention and drawing me into the enchanting world of painting. My passion found fertile ground especially with Van Gogh, whose spirit I began to study and reinterpret for the sheer pleasure of creation.

Life's circumstances led me to embrace new inspirations and stimuli. I abandoned the Impressionist style to embark on a quest for my artistic identity. An inner journey that I brooded, reflected upon and learnt, only to explode onto the canvases with a distinctive personal imprint.

Roloc, my alter ego, was born. Roloc rediscovered his creativity, embraced new sources of inspiration, but above all forged a unique style and artistic language.

The canvases, painted on richly coloured backgrounds, represent Roloc's starting point, where the added pigments blend harmoniously and fill the spaces with an amazing vitality.

The themes proposed, always accompanied by evocative texts, are the fruit of intensely lived experiences: breathtaking journeys and curiosities that pushed the boundaries of knowledge. Unforgettable encounters and faces that have marked the path. The moments of life, savoured and shared, take shape on the canvases, turning into true portraits of emotions and lived stories.

An invitation to relive these experiences through visual art, hoping that each observer can find themselves in them.

The choice of hiding behind the name Roloc is a declaration of intent: the work predominates over the artist. "I wish to involve you in my creations; to focus your attention on the themes proposed by the canvases, so as to create an intimate bond and stimulate personal reflections. I want you to feel enraptured, enchanted and transported into a world of vision, where you can lose yourself for a moment. It does not matter who has handled the brush. The essential thing is to immerse yourself in the work, to reflect, to extract personal points of view and to let your own perception be stimulated'.

The passion for painting guided Roloc through exploration, experimentation and trial and error. The end result was the harmony found with the meticulous and authentic use of acrylic colours. On the canvas, thousands of kaleidoscopic dots and deep traces of multifaceted colours make up the work. Spaces created with the stencil technique are infused with multifaceted hues.

I invite you to view the works from two different perspectives: first from afar, to embrace the work in its entirety, and then from up close…

...Enjoy your journey through colour emotions!
